Heartful Living Classes
We are happy to invite you all to join our Heartful Living Classes and guided meditation techniques on various topics to deepen your practice and understanding of the Heartfulness meditation. This is a five week course on Tuesday's from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The objective of this class is to offer practical guided meditation sessions, suggestions and techniques to deepen your understanding about the practice of meditation and the art to live consciously in our day to day lives.

Yoga Classes

Tuesdays: Sun Salutations with Yogic Relaxation 
We are honored to welcome Andy (Aniruddha) to our center to teach Yoga. He has taught for many years in Houston and ran his own yoga studio there as well. We think you will love his style. This class will be for the 1st 3 Tuesdays in December and the 1st 3 Tuesdays in January.
Sun Salutations with Yogic Relaxation
Learn the various postures and flow of Sun Salutation Vinyasa. Boost your body, mind, and spirit with Sun Salutations, and see the difference a few rounds will make in your day! We will round off the practice with additional postures, guided relaxation, and practice of Pranayama or breathing techniques. Andy's goal for this class is to inspire you to begin a daily practice and give you tools to increase your own health. This class is for beginners and experienced Yogis alike.

About Andy G.:
Andy has been practicing yoga for several years. He got his 200 hour yoga teacher training with Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhna Samsthna in Houston. Andy believes yoga to be not just a physical practice, and incorporates deep relaxation, pranayama (breathing practice) and meditation into his teaching and practice. He likes to balance dynamic Ashtanga and Hatha yoga with yin yoga and yoga nidra to achieve a balanced mind, body, and spirit.

Sat & Sun Yoga Classes

Suitable for beginners, each yoga class ends with Heartfulness meditation.

Saturday at 11am -12pm with Ms. Indira Mediratta, Hatha Yoga teacher for nearly two decades, at the Heartfulness center located inside the Mall at Fairfield Commons, Beavercreek (lower level near Macy's and JcPenney's)

Sunday at 11am - 12pm with amazing volunteer rotation of some of Dayton's best  yoga instructors at the Heartfulness center at 3153 Lantz Rd, Beavercreek 


Free classes each week. Donations welcome to support the space, but not mandatory.

Bring your own mat or borrow one to use there.

​Thursday's Yoga Classes


Popular Yoga teacher Vincent has been teaching at our Heartfulness center for many years now. His Rejuvenative Yoga classes combine breathing with asana (poses) to relieve daily stress and to increase focus, strength and flexibility. Join us to relax, restore and rejuvenate our body temples and spread the inner peace that a yoga practice can provide throughout our lives. Each class will end with Heartfulness guided relaxation and meditation. 

This class is suitable for beginners as well as the more experienced yoga student. Vincent offers modifications for any level of experience throughout the class.

About your instructor
Vincent Moore came to Yoga over 20 years ago and he feels it has improved his life in more ways than he would have ever imagined. He even placed 1st in a recent 5K run in his age group 60-65. He is a Registered Yoga Teacher and has been teaching Yoga since 2012. He looks forward to teaching this class and sharing his enthusiasm with you for this ancient practice.

Non- Violent Communication Workshop

~ NVC  (NonViolent Communication) for the Heartfulness Meditation community


Heartful Communication (HC) Foundations ~ Weekend Workshop at Heartfulness Meditation Center

Sunday, December 15, 8am-5pm 


All Heartfulness meditators are invited to begin their learning journey with Heartful Communication (HC), at this in-person weekend workshop.  It is the first step in the comprehensive HC Training Program, which consists of a series of workshops along with peer practice for integration.  The training is designed for BOTH those interested in their own personal learning and growth, AND, for those who wish to share HC with others within Heartfulness in the future.  

This weekend workshop is practical and experimental and facilitated by members of the HC Steering Team, together with advanced students of HC. Participants will learn the core concepts, principles and skills of HC/NVC, and apply these new skills to their own life situations.

Students will
●  Learn the core concepts, principles and skills of HC/NVC (Non Violent Communication)

●  Prepare for ongoing practice 
It will be a supportive, moving, challenging and fun weekend!
This Foundation Module is the first part of the comprehensive HC Training Program, which consists of a series of workshops along with peer practice and assignments for integration. Those who would like to also learn how to share HC with others within Heartfulness are welcome to apply for HC Facilitation Track.
Facilitation Track
Applications for Facilitation Track will be approved AFTER Foundation workshop.  This gives applicants a chance to experience the work they are volunteering to do down the road, and it gives us a chance to meet candidates in person.

The Facilitation Track program is rigorous with 4 full weekend workshop during 2020 (in addition to FOUNDATION MODULE this fall), along with weekly assignments, peer practice, monthly webinars, and with time, requests for candidates to begin sharing HC with others. We will start with a small group, and the program will grow organically from there. 
Heartful Communication builds on Nonviolent Communication (NVC), which has been taught and used for decades around the globe. HC/NVC enables us to:
●  Listen deeply and keep connection, even under pressure
●  Understand ourselves and others with accuracy and compassion
●  Develop self-awareness and self-respect
●  Transform blame, and criticism into respectful, constructive communication
●  Handle conflict with skill, confidence and care
●  Make requests that are more likely to be accepted
●  Find creative ways for everyone’s needs to be valued and fulfilled
Cost
There is no fee for the training. There is a suggested donation of $50-100 for this weekend workshop, to share costs for the program. However registration is required.
